As a coach I have the opportunity to work with people in different ways.

I work with organisations that want to support their employees. Usually I work with people at a managerial level and above but all have one thing in common, they want their working lives to be different. This could involve more work-life balance, delivering better results, managing their progression into a promoted post etc. In this case the organisation is investing in them to support their development and growth.

I  work with people directly because they want help to make changes they haven’t been able to make on their own i.e. they want to feel different or their career is not where they want it to be. Sometimes it is just a sense that their life is not as satisfying as they want it to be but don't know why.

​

I also enjoy working with groups. They may come to the groups as individuals but leave with a new peer group that can support them on their path to achieving their goals. It is a great way to meet new people and benefit from coaching at a reduced cost.

INDIVIDUAL COACHING

Coaching is an independent, safe space to talk about whatever’s on your mind – whether it’s something you feel is holding you back at work, making you unhappy at home, or causing you stress and anxiety. I can work with you to help take stock of the issues you’re facing, find out what’s behind them, and help you feel like yourself again.

This might be worries about not reaching your potential at work, wanting to change what you do, finding it hard to manage your new business – or feeling dissatisfied with your home life, struggling to feel happy even though it might look to others like you have it all.

Coaching can seem like a big step if you’ve never done it before, but I can run a short introductory session to give you a sense of how it works and what we might be able to achieve.  If you’re interested, we can talk on the phone or have a video call.

TRAINING & FACILITATION

In addition to coaching, I enjoy working with individuals and with groups to help facilitate learning. Over the past few years, I've led on coaching skills and mentoring training and delivered leadership skills training globally for the BBC.  I've also delivered accredited courses such as the APMG Change Management Foundation and Practitioner courses.

I enjoy designing and delivering bespoke learning sessions and courses on subjects including developing emotional intelligence, resilience, leading change and career development. 

​

My approach to learning is to make the experience as fun, engaging, evidence based and impactful as possible.
